Timothy (Tim) Burke

Originally from Coogue, Co. Mayo

Tim died very peacefully on Thursday 18th June in the wonderful care of the staff of the Bon Secours Hospital Galway, in the presence of his beloved daughters.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Recie, parents Mick and Anne and by his sisters Margaret and Bridie.

Greatly mourned by his daughters Carol and Emer, by his sons-in-law Conor and Barry and by his much-loved grandchildren Cian, Cara, Anna, Eoin and Eva. Deeply missed also by his brothers Peter, Tom and Michael, sisters Bernadette and Jenny, sisters-in-law Anne and Bridie, many nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

" He enjoyed the simple things - a conversation, a laugh, music and time together.

Reposing at St. Anthony’s Room within the Church of St. John The Apostle, Knocknacarra, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. followed by Removal into the Church.

Monday, 22 June 2025
