It is with great sadness that Paul’s family share the news of his sudden death with you. On Thursday, 18th June 2026 Paul became suddenly unwell and died with the support of the emergency services by his side in Salthill.

Dearly beloved husband of Mary and much-loved father of Seán and Niall, son of Gerry and Eithne and brother to Mark and Alison.

He is deeply mourned by his heartbroken wife, children, parents and siblings, brother-in-law Peter, nephews and nieces, father-in-law Padraig, Mark’s partner Sinéad, sisters-in-law Trisha, Pauline and Christina, colleagues in Medtronic and friends.

Funeral Arrangements

Monday, 22nd June 2026

Paul will lie in Repose at ‘St. Anthony’s Room within the Church of St. John the Apostle, Knocknacarra (H91W0H4) from 5.00 p.m. with Removal into the Church at 6.30 p.m.

Tuesday, 23rd June 2026

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Paul at 11 a.m. (H91W0H4) and following Mass he will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery. Lives treaming link for Mass: https://www.churchtv.ie/knocknacarra/
