Funeral Notice

Our darling Noel passed away peacefully in the early hours of Sunday morning, July 5th after a long illness borne with immense courage and dignity, surrounded by his loving family. He will be sorely missed by his beloved wife Cathryn and his adored daughter Elizabeth, her husband Patrick Higgins and his four treasured grandchildren Amélie, Paddy, Alex and Theo, whom he loved to the moon and back.

Mourned also by his brother Christopher, sisters-in-law Carmel Heavey and Hilary Burke, brother-in-law Séan Heavey, Godson John Heavey, and nieces Sarah and Naomi, along with a wide circle of lovely relations and friends. Predeceased by his parents Johnny and Bridgie Burke, his brother Padraic and by his parents-in-law John and Margaret Moynihan.

Noel will lie in Repose at home in Salthill (H91 KX F4) from 5.00 p.m. to 8.00p.m.

Thursday, 9 July, 2026

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Noel on arrival at 11 a.m. at the Church of Christ the King, Salthill. Following Mass, he will be laid to rest in the new cemetery, Bohermore. Live streaming link for Mass: https://www.mcn.live/Cameras/christ-the-king-church-salthill
