Formerly of St. Nicholas Road, Claddagh and Drumcondra, Dublin.
Michael completed his life’s journey on Thursday 10th September 2026 in the excellent care of St. David's Care Home, Gentian Hill, Galway.
Michael's warmth and great presence in the family will be deeply missed by his sons Martin and Billy. Predeceased by his beloved wife Kathleen and son Michael Jnr., brothers Billy and more recently Leo in Australia and by his sisters Carmel and Rose. Mourned and sadly missed also by his daughters-in-law Marie and Tessie, grandchildren and great grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Saturday 12th September 2026
Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Michael at St. Joseph’s Church, Presentation Road at 9 a.m. Following Mass, he will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery.
