Mary Flanagan (née Rabbitte)

Formerly of Mervue

Mary died at Galway University Hospital, in the great care of the staff and surrounded by her dearly loved sons and daughters Rebecca, Ruth, Alan, Ross, Jonathan and Jessica. Predeceased by her beloved husband Paddy who was the ‘love of her life’.

Deeply mourned by her children and extended family; sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be very sadly missed also by her precious siblings Patricia, Frances, Kieran, Michael, Kevin, Neill, Liam and David, her many Flanagan and Rabbitte relatives, neighbours and many friends.

May she be re-united with her beloved parents and husband

Funeral Arrangements

Monday, 1st June 2026

Mary will lie in Repose at Church of the Holy Family, Funeral Parlour, Mervue (H91 FH52) from 4 p.m. with Removal to the adjoining Church at 6.00 p.m. The Entrance to the Funeral Parlour is through the Main Church Door and the exit is at car park level where you will also find access for wheelchairs and those with mobility issues.

Tuesday, 2nd June 2026
