Funeral Notice

In the early hours of Thursday, 16th July 2026, Mary died peacefully in her sleep after a long and wonderful life.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Tony, parents Tim and Mary, and brother Joe.

Mary will be very sadly missed by her adoring children Carol, Ronan, Norman, Sara and Lynn, daughter-in-law Helen, son-in-law Brian, her cherished grandchildren Mary, Jill, Joe and Barry, Cian, Oisin and Fionn, Aisling and Emma, and her great-grandchildren Callum, Shay, Caidh, Cian and Henry.

Fondly remembered and sadly missed also by her brothers Pat and Tom, sisters-in-law, her many nieces and nephews, the extended Cahill and Duffy family and her wide circle of friends, in particular her lifelong best friend Mary Mc.

Funeral Arrangements

Monday, 20th July : Mary will lie in repose at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, (H91 V1K8) from 5.p.m. - 6:30 p.m. There will be no removal to the Church on this (Monday) evening.

Tuesday, 21st July : Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Mary on arrival at the Church of Christ the King, Salthill at 11am. Following Mass, she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Tony in Rahoon Cemetery.
