Mary Beatty (née Barrett)

Mary died peacefully surrounded by her dearly loved family in the early hours of Wednesday 9th September 2026. Beloved wife of the late Michael. Predeceased also by her parents Anthony and Nora and by her sister Sr. Martina and niece Lilian.

Deeply loved and will be sadly missed by her three sons Conor, Alan and Gary, sister Noreen, brothers Tommy Joe, Tony and Jimmy, her daughters-in-law Regina and Maria, Alan’s partner Denise and her adored grandchildren Darragh, Sarah and Liam. Fondly remembered also by her nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends especially Ursula.

The gates of memory will never close,

Funeral Arrangements

Friday 11th September 2026

Mary will lie in repose at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, (H91V1K8) from 4.30 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. There will not be a Removal to St. Mary’s Church, Claddagh on Friday evening.

Saturday 12th September 2026

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Mary on arrival at St. Mary’s Church at 11.15 a.m. Following Mass, Mary will be laid to rest in Forthill cemetery. Webcam link Here
