Martin passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, 11 October, 2026 surrounded by his family in the wonderful and compassionate care of the staff of St. Mary’s Nursing Home. Pre-deceased by his much loved daughter Emer, his parents Joseph and Nora, by his brothers Patrick, Joseph and Michael and by his nephew Paul.

Beloved husband of Margaret, cherished father of Marie, Gerard and Damien and father-in-law of Brendan and Mignon. Deeply loved and sadly missed also by his adored grandchildren Emily, Conor and Leah, nieces and nephews, the extended family, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements

Tuesday, 13 October, 2026

Martin will lie in repose at the Church of the Holy Family funeral parlour, Mervue from 5.30 p.m. with Removal at 6.30 p.m. into the adjoining Church.

Wednesday, 14 October, 2026

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Martin at 11 a.m. Following Mass he will be laid to rest with his daughter Emer in the New Cemetery, Bohermore.
