Funeral Notice
On Monday 24th August 2026, Martin died suddenly in the garden. Deeply loved and mourned by his heartbroken wife Elizabeth, sister Carmel Garavan, brother-in-law Peter, sister-in-law Karen and their daughters Eva and Zara. He will always be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews, friends and neighbours. He will be greatly missed. Pre-deceased by his parents Tom and Violet and sisters Kathleen (Kay) Davis (Oranmore) and Pattie (Magherafelt).
He died as he would have wished, doing what he loved

Funeral Arrangements
Friday 28 August, 2026
Martin will lie in repose in ‘Tearmann Mhuire’ within the grounds of the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oranmore (H91 XC61) from 5 p.m. with Removal into the Church at 6.30 p.m.
Saturday 29 August 2026
Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Martin at 11 a.m. Following Mass, he will be laid to rest in Rinville Cemetery, Oranmore.
