It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear Mum, Marie Fitzgerald Clery, who departed this life, suddenly, on 5th May 2026.

Predeceased by her parents James and Mary, her husband Brendan and her beloved daughter Noelle.

Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her children Kevin, Cormac, Brendan, Anna-Marie and Dermot, daughters-in-law Jacinta, Mairead, Yaidi and Zarah, son-in-law Jonathan, grandchildren Daragh, Robert, Jack and Dylan, Colin, James and Ella, Callum and Allanah, the extended family and friends.

Funeral Arrangements

Friday, 8th May, 2026

Marie will lie in Repose at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue (H91V1K8) from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Saturday, 9th May, 2026

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Marie on arrival at the Church of St. John the Apostle, Ballymoneen Road, Knocknacarra at 11 a.m. Following Mass, she will be laid to rest in Rahoon Cemetery. Live streaming link for Mass https://www.churchtv.ie/knocknacarra/

Parking and entrance to the funeral parlour.

Please approach the funeral parlour entrance on foot from Fr. Burke Park. Street parking may be available on Fr. Griffin Road, within Claddagh, on Henry Street, Sea Road, Dr. Colohan Road however Parking will be scarce on Munster Avenue.

Car Parks within walking distance of the parlour: The Claddagh Church, Spanish Arch and Mill Street which is adjacent to the Garda Station.
