On July 2nd, 2026, Kathleen died as she had lived very peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Rushmore Nursing Home in her 100th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Leo and their son John; daughter of the late Michael and Delia and sister of the late Michael, Mary, Julia, Pat, Bridgie, and Johnny.

‘Together again’

Kathleen is deeply mourned and sadly missed by her son Paul, daughter-in-law Anne, granddaughters Caroline and husband Des McCormack and Maria and husband Adrian Lyons, great grandchildren Mary-Anne and Michael, lovely nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Kathleen loved life and meeting people.

She enriched the lives of all those she met.

Funeral Arrangements

Sunday, 5th July 2026:

Kathleen will lie in repose at the 'Cillín' within the Church of Mary Immaculate Queen, Barna from 5 p.m. Removal at 6:00 p.m. into the Church.

Monday, 6th July 2025:

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Kathleen in Barna Church at 12 noon. Following Mass, she will be laid to rest with Leo and John in ‘Réalt Na Mara’ cemetery, Furbo. Livestreaming for the Mass: https://www.churchtv.ie/barna/
