Kate passed away peacefully at Galway University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Beloved wife of the late Billy and much loved mother of Mary, Bridie, John, James, Ann, Marguerite, Patricia and the late Kathleen.
Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her daughters and sons, brother Michael and sister Sally, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, her adored grandchildren and great grandchildren, the extended Carr and Carrick family, neighbours and friends.
May her gentle soul rest in peace
Funeral Arrangements:
Monday 5th October, 2026
Reposing at the Church of the Holy Family funeral parlour, Mervue from 5.00 p.m. with Removal into the adjoining Church at 6.30 p.m.
Tuesday 6th October, 2026
Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Kate at 12 noon. Following Mass she will be laid to rest with her husband Billy in Rahoon cemetery.
