Funeral Notice
On 28th September 2026, Ita died peacefully at Galway Hospice following wonderful care from the staff at the Bons Secours Galway.
Pre-deceased by her parents Patrick and Mai, and brothers and sisters Frank, Imelda, Bernadette and Paddy.
Dearly missed and loved by her brother John, brother-in-law Martin, nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
Friday, 2nd October, 2026
Ita will lie in repose at 'Áras Naofa' within the grounds of St. Oliver Plunkett Church, Renmore from 5 p.m. with Removal at 6:30 p.m. into the Church.
Saturday, 3rd October, 2026
Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Ita at 11a.m. and following Mass she will be laid to rest in Bohermore Cemetery. Live streaming link for the Mass here.
