Frank (Francis) Flynn

Formerly of Ballymahon

On Friday, 31 July 2026 Frank completed his life's journey which began in Ballymahon, (peacefully), at Galway University Hospital with his family by his side. Pre-deceased by his parents, Francis and Christina and by his elder brother Jimmy.

Deeply mourned by his dearly loved wife Eileen, sons Jim and Micheál, daughters-in-law Úna and Siobhán, grandchildren Robert, Matthew, Charlie, Kayleigh, Luke and Jessica, brother Ciarán, sisters Ann, Nuala and Dorrie, sisters-in-law Julie and Dolores, brothers-in-law Clive and Michael, Connie and Micheál, nephews and nieces, cousins, the extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Described by many as an absolute gentleman, a great community man and a 'rock' whose steady presence brought great comfort to so many.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dilís,

Funeral Arrangements

Wednesday, 5 August 2026: Frank will lie in repose at the ‘Cillín’ within the Church of Mary Immaculate Queen, Barna from 5 p.m.- 6:30 p.m. (H91 A2T7)

Thursday, 6 August 2026: Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Frank on arrival at the Church of Mary Immaculate Queen at 12 noon. (H91 A2T7)
