Fr. Miceál Noone (Ó Nuadháin)

Formerly Coilleach, Spiddal and Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon

Peacefully at University Hospital Galway on July 17th, 2026. Beloved husband of Kathy and much-loved father of David and Anthony. Pre-deceased by his parents Peadar and Áine, sister Sineád and nephew Donncha.

Deeply mourned and very sadly missed by his wife and sons, sisters Nóirín, Anne and Mairéad, brother Peadar, daughters-in-law Juliette and Laurann and by his adored grandson Michael. Fondly remembered by his aunt Sr. Phyllis Surlis, the Community at St. Patrick’s Missionary Society, Kiltegan Fathers, Co. Wicklow and by the extended Noone and Morrison family, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements

Sunday, 19th July 2026

Miceál will lie in Repose at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue (H91V1K8) from 11.30 a.m. to 1.00 pm.

Monday 20th July 2026

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Fr. Miceál at Cill Éinde Church, Spiddal on arrival at 12 noon. Following Mass, he will be laid to rest in Coilleach Cemetery, Spiddal. Live streaming link for Mass Here
