Eithne Condon (née Farrell)

Formerly Clonmel, Co. Tipperary and Pallas, Abbeyshrule, Co Longford

On 1 July, Eithne peacefully completed her life’s journey. Her family wish to thank the staff of Maryfield Nursing Home for the exceptional care, kindness and compassion shown to Eithne during the past five years. Predeceased recently by her much-loved son Paul who died in June and by her parents Bill and Alice, brother Vincent and his wife Patricia and by her niece Nessa and nephew John.

Dearly loved by her devoted husband Gerry, son Mark and daughter Alison. Fondly remembered by her daughter-in-law Mary, son-in-law Peter, Mark’s partner Sinéad, cherished grandchildren Seán and Niall, Gemma, Eva and Cara, Amy, Lisa and Shane, great grand children Anthony, Liam, Ciara, Aoife, Tara, Saoirse and Aoibheann.

Sadly, missed also by her sisters May, Irene, Nuala, Una and Vera, brothers Joe, Mel, Alo, and John, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews and nieces’ relatives and friends.

Your time has come to leave us,

For Paul has called you softly home.

We pray you felt our love around you,

And never once walked on alone.

Now rest with Paul in heaven

Held in light and peace above

Two souls reunited gently

In God’s eternal, endless love

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Saturday, 4th July 2026

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Eithne at 11 a.m. (H91W0H4) and following Mass she will be laid to rest side by side with Paul in Rahoon cemetery. Live streaming link for Mass: https://www.churchtv.ie/knocknacarra/
