Edith Murphy (née McCullough)

Edith died peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Moycullen nursing home.

Beloved mother of Janet, Dervla, Michelle and Edith.

Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her daughters and her partner Jack, sons-in-law Naomhán, Andrew and Ben, her adored grandchildren Michael and his wife Ayelén, Lee, Nicole, Anna, Emma, Daniel and Megan, great granddaughters Kiana and Helena, the extended family, neighbours and many friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace

Funeral Arrangements:

Friday 9th October, 2026:

Edith will lie in Repose at St. Pio's Room within the Church of the Sacred Heart, Seamus Quirke Road from 6.00 p.m. with Removal into the Church at 7.00 p.m.

Saturday 10th October, 2026:

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Edith at 10.00 a.m. and following Mass she will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired in memory of Edith to the Galway Hospice.
