Declan passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the ICU staff at University Hospital Galway, with family by his side, on Sunday, 14th June 2026. Predeceased by his parents Dympna and Jerry, and his brother Bryan. He will be sadly missed by his brother Séamus, sister-in-law Claire, sister Patricia, brother-in-law Matt, his daughters Sarah and Lisa, brothers Dermot and Eamonn, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
May he be reunited with his parents and Bryan,

Declan will lie in Repose at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue,Galway (H91 V1K8) from 5.00 p.m. with Removal at 6.00 p.m. to the Church of Christ the King, Salthill.
Friday, 19th June 2026.
