On Sunday, 14th June 2026, Cathriona died peacefully with her family by her side in the great care of the staff at the Galway Clinic. Deeply loved by her husband Seán and daughters Brenda, Fiona and Sarah. She will always be sadly missed also by her sister Stephanie, brothers Declan and Gareth, sons-in-law Greg and Thomas, grandchildren; Olivia, Érin, Aisling, Gary, Kitana, Aoife, Mason, Tommy, Adam and Zoe and by her great granddaughter Isla. Fondly remembered also by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May she be reunited with her beloved parents Brendan Snr. and Margaret

and brothers Brendan Jnr. and baby P.J.

Funeral Arrangements

Cathriona will lie in Repose at Church of the Holy Family, Funeral Parlour, Mervue (H91 FH52) from 5.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.

The Entrance to the Funeral Parlour is through the Main Church Door and the exit is at car park level where you will also find access for wheelchairs and those with mobility issues.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Cathriona on arrival at the Church of the Holy Family, Mervue at 11.00 a.m. Following Mass she will be laid to rest in Forthill cemetery, Lough Atalia Road. Live streaming link for Mass. https://www.churchtv.ie/mervue/
