Anthony Fahy

Anthony died on Tuesday 8th September 2026 after a brief illness. He died peacefully in Galway Hospice with his heartbroken family by his side. Mourned by his wife Pauline, sons Paul and Tony and daughter Edel, Edel's husband Philip, by his adored grandchildren and great grandchildren all of whom he was immensely proud; Clara, Sophie Paul and Henry, Nicole and Gemma and Olivia, Rhiannon and Gabby, great grandchildren Summer, Rose and Darla. He will always be fondly remembered by his extended family; the Egans, the Ryans and the Wades. He was predeceased by his parents Maud and Anthony and by his sister Mary Egan, whose absence was a great loss to him.

Funeral Arrangements

Friday 11th September 2026

Anthony will lie in repose at the Church of the Holy Family, Funeral Parlour, Mervue from 5.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. There will not be a Removal into the adjacent Church on Friday evening.

Saturday 12th September 2026

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Anthony on arrival at Mervue Church at 12.30 p.m. Webcam Link https://www.churchtv.ie/mervue/ Following Mass, he will be laid to rest in Forthill cemetery.
