Ailish passed away peacefully at home in Harrow on, Wednesday, 7 October 2026, surrounded by her loving family, after a valiant, decade-long battle with cancer. Predeceased by her father, Paddy Smullen.
Ailish will be deeply missed by all those who loved her - her husband Vincent, son Ryan (partner Agne), mother Teresa, sisters Angela and Teresa, brothers Padraigh, Ciaran, John (wife Marion), and Noel (wife Ann Marie), as well as her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, colleagues, neighbours, and her many friends.

Funeral Arrangements
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Ailish on arrival at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oranmore in the coming weeks. The date has not been confirmed. Following Mass, she will be laid to rest in Rinville Cemetery.
